About HP

What do you think about when you hear the name HP? Is it printers? Laptops? Most people do. It's understandable - these are the products people see every day. But what about the other sides to HP? The side that helps the MOD get a 3D view of a battlefield? The side that brings a kung fu panda to life or changes the way people see and interact with the world? HP is a multi-faceted company. Join one of it's graduate or intern schemes and you'll see them all.

Graduate and intern programmes

Graduates can join one of HP's programmes in consulting, business, IT or project/programme management. As an intern you have the opportunity to follow your interest in business, IT, marketing or sales.

Wherever you are in your studies, our programmes are the perfect launch pad for your career with HP. For both schemes, after a brief but intensive on-boarding period, you'll be given a real role with real responsibilities. Learning from expert colleagues on live projects, you'll be supported every step of the way by your line manager and mentor.

Throughout the scheme, your training and development won't stop. You'll attend sessions designed to hone your soft skills, such as presenting, influencing and communicating effectively. And through ongoing appraisals and feedback processes, you'll plot and control your career - taking you from entry-level position to specialist, expert and beyond.

Training

HP knows that training and structured development are key to developing its ever expanding workforce. In order to nurture its graduates into future leaders, the company has developed an approach which allows them to excel their current role.

Recognising that the most effective and rapid way of learning is on-the-job, you'll be encouraged to make the most of the hands-on experience you'll get on job rotations and cross-functional team projects. To support this live work, you'll be fully equipped and competent; provided with coaching, mentoring and face-to-face, virtual and interactive training programmes.
