It's graduate induction course provides a comprehensive overview of investment management and an in-depth introduction to the way Schroders work. Further training
Once you've joined your department, you'll benefit from on-going technical training and will be encouraged to study for a highly-regarded professional qualification.

Training

For you as a graduate, that means you'll be empowered to make your own career decisions and given the freedom to thrive in a meritocratic environment.

You'll be provided with financial support and generous study leave to help you gain professional qualifications.

  • All graduates will undertake the IMC (Investment Management Certificate) during the first few weeks of the induction programme
  • Investment graduates will then continue by studying for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification
  • Finance graduates will work towards Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Distribution and IT graduates will be encouraged to pursue qualifications which are relevant to the roles on offer

The growth opportunities won't stop once you finish your initial training. Throughout your career, the dedicated Learning & Development team will ensure you have the support to continuously develop your skills and knowledge. You will also be encouraged to move forwards within Schroders by taking advantage of the wide range of career development options within its large and diverse business.

What does the future hold?

Looking to the future, I plan to become a qualified CIMA accountant and take on my second role with Schroders. And I look forward to becoming an established member of the Finance department.
