  • An apprenticeship culture
Bain fosters an apprenticeship culture where trainers are drawn from the internal ranks of its strong performers. It believes that its own people are best positioned to teach the 'next generation' by bringing the lessons to life with some personal experience. "Who better to train us than fellow Bain employees who have been in our shoes and know first-hand what makes a powerful training experience. They understand what is most important and practical to learn. They also have a magical way of making it one of the most engaging and self-reflective experiences. Outside trainers simply don't have the same context to teach us as effectively."
