The specialists in professional temporary recruitment.
Recruitment is a career that offers you a chance to run your own business within a business. Of course there is a structure to how Venn's consultants work, but individuals are responsible for the strategy of building and looking after their client base. Within your first year you will develop your skills for generating business, pitching, specialist sector knowledge, interviewing and assessing candidates. Throughout this period you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients; you and your manager work together to develop a strategy for maintaining and developing business with them. Your strategy will typically include phone calls, speculative CV's, mail-shots, meetings and research.
Many graduates see recruitment as a strong career choice because it directly rewards diligence and conscientious working - you directly see the rewards of your hard work as your client portfolio grows. Few other career choices give such immediate feedback for success.

Developing talent is Venn's priority and its in-house training department ensures that everyone can reach their potential. Venn's commitment to training is consistently one of the strongest in the industry.
From the day you join Venn Group, the commitment is made to support you and develop your professional and personal skills. Venn does this by providing a combination of formal and informal training. You'll learn on dedicated courses, be trained by Venn's own career recruitment specialists passing on their hands-on experience and from one-to-ones with executive consultants or management.
During your first three months you will have a structured plan, with on-the-desk training supported by formal training from one of their dedicated training specialists. This combination of theory and practical experience helps to reinforce your learning. After three months you will attend a residential training course delivered by Venn's management team. This provides an excellent opportunity for you to share your knowledge and experiences in a relaxed environment.
Venn's training team's long-term commitment is for every consultant to receive a minimum of three days of formal training every year.
Venn takes exceptional care when choosing its staff and offers real career prospects - as new joiners can readily see all around them. It has never 'parachuted in' Senior Managers from outside the company: every single one of their Directors and Managers started at the ground floor, coming through to lead the business thanks to their own enthusiasm, talent and commercial drive.
